Open Position: Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Opportunity:

Sleep Technologist

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour overnight shifts, 3 nights per week with guaranteed 40 hours
* No weekend or holiday shifts required
* Perform sleep studies and administer treatments for patients with sleep disorders including CPAP, oxygen therapy, and Bilevel therapy
* Operate Natus Xltek sleep testing equipment, ResMed PAP machines, and EPIC One Chart EMR
* Maintain a 1 technologist to 2 patients ratio in the Sleep Lab (4 sleep beds total)
* Minimum of two years of related work experience in Sleep Disorders field preferred
* North Dakota Respiratory Care License required
* Required certifications: BLS Certification and Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT Certificate
* Dress code: Gray scrubs
* Orientation includes one week with day sleep technologists to learn EPIC One Chart, sleep and EEG software, workflows, hospital layout, policies and procedures, and testing procedures, followed by one week of nights with another sleep technologist
* Position is not open to local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles of the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a dedicated Sleep Center equipped with modern sleep testing technology and supports a trauma level 2 designation. The Sleep Lab consists of 4 sleep beds and utilizes advanced diagnostic equipment to evaluate and treat patients with sleep disorders. The facility uses EPIC One Chart as its electronic medical records system and maintains a structured orientation program to ensure all clinicians are well-prepared for their roles.
