Opportunity:

Medical Assistant

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
* No weekend requirements
* Floating required externally to other Internal Medicine/Family Medicine clinics
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required
* BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
* High school diploma or GED required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Venipuncture proficiency required
* Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, blood draws, patient charting, and vaccination support
* Additional skills include administering medications, TB tests, EKG/ECG, wound care, telephone triage, and specimen collection
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Primary care patient diagnoses

This facility is a primary care outpatient clinic offering comprehensive internal medicine and family medicine services. The clinic supports a wide range of patient care activities including diagnostic procedures, preventive care, and chronic disease management. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages.
