Medical Assistant - Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program required
* BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
* High school diploma or GED required
* Venipuncture experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Oncology experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 10 patients per day
* Daily census of 75 with 38 rooms
* No weekend shifts required
* Floating between locations required - traveler must be flexible
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Patient diagnoses include hematology and oncology
* Skills required include: adult outpatient clinic, height/weight, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, obtaining vital signs, pulse oximetry, recording history/medications/allergies, and rooming patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
