RN - Case Manager and Utilization Review

Job Details:

* Perform case management and utilization review functions within a cancer specialty hospital setting
* Weekend shifts required
* Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
* 5 years of experience required in specialty
* BSN required
* California license required and must be in hand upon submission, no pending licenses accepted
* Epic charting system experience required
* InterQual and Milliman Guidelines documentation experience required
* SBAR communication skills required
* Required certifications: BLS
* Required skills and experience: Acute Hospital, Long Term Acute Care/Rehab/Skilled Nursing, Admission Criteria, Care Coordination, Discharge Planning, UR Admission Criteria, UR Appeals and Denials, UR Concurrent Review, UR Continued Stay Reviews, UR Medical Necessity, UR Retrospective Review, CPT coding and billing, ICD-10 Coding, DRG knowledge, CMS guidelines, HEDIS Measures, HIPAA guidelines, NCQA, OSHA, The Joint Commission/Core Measure/National Safety Goals, and Workers Compensation
