Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

* 9-week assignment
* No weekend shifts required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Float required to preop and phase II PACU, as well as to sister ministry facilities (Santa Rosa or Healdsburg) with at least 24 hours advance notice
* Minimum 3 years of experience required; at least 1 year of endoscopy experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Patient ratio: 1:1 during day shifts
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CGRN
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills include: Administering and monitoring conscious sedation, airway management, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), bronchoscopy, esophageal varices and banding, sclerotherapy, balloon dilators, lithotripters, electrosurgical units, ERBE, pre/post procedure care, recovering conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care sedation, propofol, reversal agents, opioid analgesics, Versed, starting and maintaining IVs, specimen handling and labeling, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, polyp snares, forceps, foreign body equipment, disposable grounding pads, circulate, scrub, and Provation documentation
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Up to one pre-approved time off request permitted
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the submittal process

Facility:

This healthcare facility is part of a larger network of sister ministry facilities, offering comprehensive endoscopy and procedural care services for adult and geriatric patient populations. The facility provides a broad range of interdisciplinary support services and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system. Staff may be required to float between nearby sister facilities to support patient care needs across the network.
