Opportunity:

TTH Emergency Center - ER

Job Details:

* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:3 for days and nights
* Minimum 1 year of experience required with Level I or II Trauma experience
* Combined Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
* Must be comfortable treating all patient age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Floating within service line and between multiple facilities as needed
* No block scheduling available
* No local travelers within 50-mile radius
* Epic charting experience required
* Scrub color: Navy
* Free parking
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
* Clinical skills required include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care and management, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, CVA management, neuro-trauma, traumatic brain injury, ortho-trauma, CPAP/BiPAP management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, care of ventilated patients, gunshot wound management, isolation precautions, and triage
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center and the largest acute care hospital in the Toledo metropolitan area, operating as a teaching hospital. The emergency center features a combined adult and pediatric department with a daily census of 240 and 52 staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic charting and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
