Opportunity:

Operating Room - CVOR Tech 10HR - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 10-hour shifts
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Monday through Friday with varying off day
* On-call required 2-3 times per week
* At least 1 weekend per month required (24 hours - Saturday and Sunday)
* Scrub color/attire provided by facility
* Charting system: Cerner
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Scrub experience required
* NBSTSA certification strongly preferred
* BLS certification required
* CST certification required
* Required case types: Adults, Adolescents, Geriatrics - General and Neuro Surgery
* Preferred case types: Cardiovascular
* Required skills include: Arteriovenous fistula repair, Aseptic Technique, Carotid angioplasty, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, General OR, Hybrid OR, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure
* Maryland or Compact license must be active and in hand at submission
* Two supervisor references required
* Block schedule accommodations available

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 12 operating rooms and 178 total staffed beds, offering a well-equipped surgical environment for a range of complex cases. The facility utilizes Cerner for charting and provides scrub attire to clinical staff. Free parking is available in the South Parking Garage, adding convenience for traveling clinicians.
