Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* Work on a 28-bed Medical-Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
* 4 weekend shifts required per 28-day schedule with holiday rotation
* Float rotation shared with other staff members
* Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
* Work with equipment including walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and more
* Collaborate with Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management team members
* Must demonstrate teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and strong communication skills
* Medical-Surgical experience required, including experience with respiratory diseases/illnesses, renal disease, GI illnesses/diseases, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
* Oncology and general surgery patient experience not required but preferred
* Patient experience requirements include utilizing communication boards with a 72% compliance rate
* Required certification: BLS
* Required uniform: Navy blue scrubs
