Open Position: Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech

Job Details:

* Work in a cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology unit
* Patient ratio of 4 team members on call with typically 4 people in a room (2 RN/2 tech)
* On-call required with rotating call weekends
* Required to scrub left heart catheterization (LHC), complete heart cath, and PCI procedures
* Preferred skills include: Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Inari, Penumbra, ROTA, peripheral intervention, right heart catheterization, and temporary pacer
* Typical procedures include: LHC, complete heart cath, PCI, CTO, peripheral interventions, EP procedures, and implants
* Work with Philips/GE combo lab, Azurion Maclab/Cardo equipment
* Document using Meditech Expanse EMR system
* Hospital scrubs provided
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Ideal candidate is flexible, team-focused, a good communicator, and dependable
* No floating required

This facility is a modern hospital featuring a dedicated cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology unit with 2 procedure rooms. The unit is staffed by a skilled team including RN supervisors, clinical nurse coordinators, registered cardiovascular invasive specialists, and lead technicians. The facility utilizes advanced cardiac imaging and intervention technology to support a wide range of complex cardiovascular procedures.
