Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Emergency department setting with 50 beds
* Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
* Night shift staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics
* Use of equipment including EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitors
* EMR system: Meditech
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ED experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
* Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
* Stroke experience preferred
* Perform complete ED care needs for assigned patients
* Collaborative, energetic personality with strong patient care and communication skills preferred

Facility:

This facility features a busy 50-bed emergency department staffed by a team of 68 professionals, including registered nurses and EMT/Medics across all shifts. The unit operates with a collaborative team environment and utilizes modern equipment including EKG machines, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitoring systems. The emergency department maintains structured staffing across day, mid, and night shifts to ensure comprehensive patient care around the clock.
