Opportunity:

RN - LTAC ICU Night

Job Details:

* Night shift position in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU unit
* Block scheduling type with weekend coverage required
* 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
* Staff will work both the 12-bed ICU and 35-bed Med-Surg unit
* Float to Med-Surg required with patient ratio of 1:5
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics (18 years and older)
* Patient diagnoses include vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, trach/peg
* Required skills include arterial line management, central line care, chest tubes, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, mechanical ventilation management, tracheostomy care, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and complex wound care
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
