Opportunity:

RN - OR Circulator

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with night and weekend call rotation
* 1 weekend shift required every 4-6 weeks
* On-call requirement of 1-2 days per week on a rotating schedule with all circulators
* 3-4 weekend shifts per contract
* 1 year of circulator experience required; PACU experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Epic experience within the last 12 months required and must be clearly documented on submission profile
* Must pass Epic competency exam; only one attempt allowed
* Charting system experience required; Allscripts experience required
* Active Tennessee or compact nursing license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 10 operating rooms in the unit
* Special procedures include THA/TKA using Mako Robot, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, sacrocolpopexy with Da Vinci, Dornier laser with urology, and AAA repair (planned and emergent) with vascular surgeon
* Skills include but are not limited to: total joint replacement, robotic surgery (gynecologic, orthopedic, urologic, gastrointestinal), laparoscopic-assisted procedures, cardiac monitoring, open and closed fracture reduction, cholecystectomy, colon resection, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, and additional general and specialty OR procedures

Facility:

This facility operates a well-equipped surgical services department with 10 operating rooms supporting a wide range of general, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, and vascular procedures. The unit utilizes advanced surgical technology including the Mako Surgical System, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, and Dornier laser, reflecting a commitment to innovative, high-quality patient care. The surgical team supports both planned and emergent cases across multiple specialties in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
