Job Details:
* 48-hour or 36-hour contract options available
* 8, 10, or 13 week contract lengths available
* Every other weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
* Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team
* This unit has historically maintained a 1:7 patient ratio
* Summer holidays: Required to work 1-2 of 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
* EMR system: EPIC
* 2 years of previous experience required
* At least 1 travel contract completed preferred
* Illinois state license required; Iowa license required upon offer
* Required equipment and clinical skills: Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
* Required medication experience: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban, including some titration
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
* Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
* Driver's license required
* Work history/resume required
* Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
* License verification required
* Copy of required certifications required
* 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
