Opportunity:
MRI Technologist
Job Details:
* Work four 10-hour shifts per week in rotating schedule (Monday-Thursday one week, Tuesday-Friday the next)
* No weekend rotation or on-call responsibilities
* Closed for major holidays
* Average of 12-16 patients per day
* Work with 1.5 Tesla Philips Ingenia Ambition equipment
* Must have 2 years of MRI experience (mixture of acute and outpatient experience acceptable)
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT, state license
* Must be comfortable working independently and may work solo at times
* Perform IV starts as needed
* Patient types include adults and older pediatric patients (typically 10+ years)
* Handle outpatient, inpatient, ED, ICU, and MedSurg cases
* Scan types include neuro (strokes), soft tissue injuries, head/neck/spine, hips, oncology, extremities, joints, abdominal, breast, prostate, and some angiograms
* No vented or monitored patients, no cardiac, no sedation, no pacemakers
* Dress code requires solid color scrubs with no graphics, logos, or designs
* First-time travelers not accepted
* First week orientation provided
Facility:
This 64-bed healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical imaging services including MRI capabilities. The facility features one MRI room and serves a diverse patient population including outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, ICU, and medical surgical patients. The organization maintains high standards for imaging quality and patient care, with radiologist support available on-site during selected days and remote reading services during extended hours. The facility provides excellent support systems including lead technologists in other modalities, management supervision, and rapid response teams when needed.
