RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 13-week assignment length
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* Float requirement as needed per unit policy
* Perform vaginal deliveries and Caesarean sections
* Work in a 16-bed LDR unit with 5 Triage (OBED) and 7 Antepartum beds
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Unit clerk and ORT available 24/7
* Utilize fetal monitors and document in Meditech/CPN systems (Meditech experience preferred)
* Minimum 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience required
* Required certifications: Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP
* Active Texas RN license required (temporary license not accepted)
* Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
