Opportunity:

EMG Technologist

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts
* Acute care setting
* Perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) and autonomic studies on patients undergoing testing of the peripheral and autonomic nervous system (ANS)
* Work closely with physicians in both outpatient and inpatient settings
* Apply background knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the brain, spinal cord, cranial nerves, peripheral nerves, neuromuscular junction, muscles, and autonomic nerves
* Charting system: EPIC
* Must reside within a 50-mile radius and provide a Driver's License at submission
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
* High school diploma or equivalent education required
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS.T) via AAET
* Registered EMG credentials required
* Registry by American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET) required
