Opportunity:

RN - LPN (Long-Term Care / Rehabilitation)

Job Details:

* Partner with residents and care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment through direct and indirect care
* Float to multiple units as needed, including a specialized Alzheimer's/dementia unit, a transitional rehabilitation unit, and a long-term care unit
* Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques when working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents
* Provide skilled nursing services including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management
* Support patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other short-term illnesses or injuries
* Flexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
* Flexibility to float to other units as needed
* 1-3 years of previous RN experience required
* Associate's degree in Nursing required
* Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required
* Medical terminology preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills required
* Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
