Job Details:

* Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in the emergency department setting
* Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay
* Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood transfusions as needed
* Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
* Work within a full spectrum emergency care setting including a separate Chest Pain Center
* Must be willing and able to work in charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed
* At least 2 years of experience in the ED setting required
* At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Candidates with licensure hits or background actions will not be accepted
* Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
