Job Details:

* Night shift position with every other weekend requirement
* Holiday requirements apply
* Hospital provides scrubs
* Chart using EPIC system
* Must be able to circulate C-sections in the OR
* At least 2 years of high-risk L&D experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
* BSN not required
* Must read own fetal monitor strips using GE Corometrics EFM system
* Required to titrate drips including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate
* 18 hours of call required per 6-week period, scheduled in 6-hour increments
* Self-scheduling process available, though travelers will be expected to fill in where needed within reason
* 1 shift of unit-specific orientation required
* Must be available and in state for full week of orientation
* Float to postpartum as needed; potential to float within Zone 1 in cases of extreme need
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Must reside within 60 miles of facility; valid driver's license must be submitted
* Trauma Level 3, Acute Care setting

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive Labor & Delivery unit featuring 22 L&D beds, 2 OR suites for C-sections, 7 triage beds, and 34 postpartum beds, delivering approximately 2,900 births annually. The unit follows AWHONN guidelines as closely as possible and is supported by anesthesia in-house 24/7, surgical technicians, and APP coverage around the clock. The facility houses a Level III NICU and treats a wide range of complex conditions including pre-eclampsia, insulin-dependent mothers, and various antepartum complications.
