Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery/OB ED

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Alternating weekend schedule
* No call requirements
* Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 with charge nurse support on both day and night shifts
* Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit
* Perform procedures including SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLACs
* Utilize equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Required certifications: EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
* SVE competency and C-section circulation experience required
* Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only; t-shirts are not acceptable

Facility:

This facility operates a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit staffed by approximately 150 team members. The unit is equipped with advanced technology and modern equipment to support a wide range of obstetric procedures. The department maintains a strong emphasis on teamwork and a positive work environment, with dedicated charge nurses on every shift to support clinical staff.
