Open Position: RN - ICU Neuro

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1870.60

Opportunity:

RN - Neuro ICU

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Half of weekend shifts required per contract
* Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Neuro ICU experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: Blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, CVA and acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD), hypothermia protocol and Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, lumbar drains, management of dysrhythmias, post craniotomy care, post neurosurgery management, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
* Treat adult patient population
* Unit consists of 14 rooms and 16 beds with a daily census of 14
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
