Opportunity:

LVN - OBGYN Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Floating required to other OBGYN outpatient clinics as needed
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* 2 years of outpatient clinic experience required, with a minimum of 1 year in an OBGYN clinic setting
* Active California LVN license required at time of submission
* Valid California IV certification required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, IV Certified, Phlebotomy Certified
* Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture required
* Experience with Epic charting system preferred
* Secondary OBGYN questionnaire required
* Experience with the following OBGYN procedures required: PAP, Colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NST
* Must be proficient in the following skills: blood glucose monitoring, follow-up phone calls, IM and SQ injections, interpretation of laboratory results, isolation precautions/PPE, labeling of specimens, medication reconciliation, obtaining and instructing clean catch urine, pain assessment and management, pap smears, patient health questionnaire/history/allergies, pharmacy calls and patient refill requests, phlebotomy, pregnancy-induced hypertension, spontaneous abortion care, starting and maintaining IVs, telephone triage, vaccine administration, vaginal bleeding management, vaginal specimen collection, and vital sign monitoring
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* First-time travelers accepted
