Job Details:

* Rotating shifts or straight nights possible
* Weekend coverage required
* 12 hours of orientation provided
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 22-bed ICU unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA only)
* Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
* Must be available to work every other holiday
* Key clinical skills required include but are not limited to: arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, management of dysrhythmias, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, IV insulin protocols, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more

The ICU unit consists of 22 beds and is equipped with robust interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams. The facility prioritizes patient-centered care for adult and geriatric populations and maintains high standards for clinical excellence.
