Cath Lab Days

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule working four 10-hour shifts per week
* 8 to 12 days of call required per month, including availability for STEMI or vascular call
* Every 4th weekend shift required
* Must have Cath Lab experience and ability to take call
* 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers welcome
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS
* Pending New Mexico or compact license accepted, but must be obtained prior to start
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 20 to 30 patients
* Required skills include: Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Catheterizations, Left Heart Catheterization, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration and Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, and Right Heart Catheterization
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within their scope based on facility needs

This facility is a specialized heart hospital offering advanced cardiac care services with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility is equipped to handle a full range of cardiac catheterization procedures and maintains a robust support structure to ensure comprehensive patient care across multiple specialties.
