RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed is an option
* Work in a 38-bed emergency department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
* Day and night shifts available with 7 RNs per shift and 5 mid-shift RNs
* Day shift: 7 day RNs | Night shift: 7 night RNs
* 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum requirement per 4-week schedule
* 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays required
* Must float to Brookside ED when needed
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Work with equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes
* EMR system: Meditech
* Typical procedures include port placement and chest tubes
* Must demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills
* CPI certification preferred
* Ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, a team player, positive, and coachable

This facility is a full-service medical center featuring a comprehensive emergency department with 38 beds across three distinct care areas, including a dedicated psychiatric-safe environment. The emergency department is staffed around the clock with dedicated nursing teams across day, mid, and night shifts. The unit is equipped with advanced medical technology to support a wide range of critical and emergent patient care needs.
