Open Position: RN - CCU

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiac Procedures

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday day shift, 8.5 hours per shift
* If stress testing experience is present, will rotate through weekend call - one weekend per month and holidays
* Acute care setting with 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
* 2 procedure rooms with patient bedside care in hospital rooms
* Administer conscious sedation and recover patients post procedure
* Participate in an average of 8 Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and/or Cardioversions per day
* Stress testing experience preferred but not required
* Collaborate with charge nurse and providers
* No floating to other units or departments
* Charting system: EPIC and CUPID
* Equipment utilized: Defibrillator (Life Pak), Accudose
* Dress code: Sanford Navy Blue scrubs
* Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required, cardiac experience preferred
* Strong assessment skills and rhythm interpretation experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* North Dakota nursing license required
* BSN not required

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a dedicated cardiac procedures unit equipped with modern technology to support a high volume of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. The unit provides a structured, collaborative environment where clinicians work closely with providers to deliver specialized cardiac care. Staff benefit from a brief orientation program and work within a well-defined scope that includes TEE procedures, cardioversions, and stress testing.
