Opportunity:

RN - Transplant Nephrology

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week is an option
* 3 weekend shifts per month required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:6
* Float policy requires agency/contract nurses to float first
* Work on a 20-bed Transplant Nephrology unit
* Provide med/surg care to nephrology, kidney transplant, renal, and dialysis patients
* Dialysis is performed off of the unit
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Unit secretary available during the day with PCTs and a unit educator on staff
* Virtual nurse completes patient admissions allowing bedside nurses to focus on other patients
* Required dress code: Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants permitted
* Minimum education requirement: ADN
* Required certification: BLS

This facility is a Level 1 trauma center offering a wide range of specialized medical services. The Transplant Nephrology unit is a 20-bed floor with strong team support including unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and a dedicated unit educator.
