Opportunity:

SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWING

Job Details:

* 17-week contract for holiday coverage
* Day shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend rotation required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Care for a wide range of patient types including respiratory patients (high flow, CPAP, BiPAP), trachs, chemo, RSV, and asthma patients, as well as medical, trauma, cardiovascular, and surgical cases
* No solid organ transplant, major burns, or stem cell transplant cases
* Required skills include aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, suctioning, G-tube/J-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, drip management, Foley insertion and management, and discharge skills
* CRRT experience with Prismax preferred
* CICU experience preferred
* Epic EMR experience preferred
* Floating to MedSurg, ED, or NICU as Helping Hands or Constant Observer may be required
* Scrub color: any color permitted, no hooded shirts; long sleeves must be able to be pulled above the elbow
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS

Facility:

This facility is a 152-bed Level II Trauma Center and Level IV NICU with 16 PICU beds that are interchangeable with overflow from medical-surgical. The unit serves a mixed patient population including neurological, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, and medical cases. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including Prismax for CRRT and has ECMO capabilities supported by dedicated ECMO specialists.
