RN - Surgery

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Call required including 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month, with potential for additional call based on department needs
* May float to other facilities as needed
* Heavy focus on Orthopedic, Urology, Spine, and Robotic procedures
* Must be able to circulate in the operating room
* Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
* Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
* Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
* Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills
* Maintain complete and accurate medical records
* Required certifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license, CPR/BLS, ACLS
