Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac/Telemetry
Job Details:
* Day shift position with flexible hours: 4x10-hour shifts or 3x12-hour shifts
* Shift times: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* EPIC experience required
* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
* BLS certification from approved vendor required
* AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and nursing process
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and identify outcomes for patient situations
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
* Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
