Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4205.36

Opportunity:

RN - Ortho/Trauma

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour shifts per schedule period with three weekend shifts required per schedule period
* 48 guaranteed hours approved for travelers
* Patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5
* 23-bed Ortho/Trauma unit
* Work with equipment including traction, fixators, and cooling equipment
* Document using Meditech system
* Perform bedside shift reports and hourly rounding for patient experience requirements
* Care for post-op knee, hip, and shoulder replacement patients, trauma patients, and some neuro overflow
* Contract labor is first to float, with floating to other MedSurg level of care units including General MS, Nephrology, and Neuro/Trauma
* Unit support includes Unit Secretary and PCTs
* Required: Active RN license and BLS certification
* Ortho experience, Telemetry, and NIH stroke scale skills strongly preferred
* Required dress code: Navy scrubs

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing the highest level of care for trauma and stroke patients. The unit specializes in orthopedic and trauma care, supporting patients through post-operative recovery and complex trauma cases. The facility maintains a collaborative care environment supported by unit secretaries and patient care technicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
