Job Details:
* Day shift position in the Intensive Care Unit
* Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* 48 hours at straight time allowed per schedule
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 6 weekend shifts required per schedule period
* May be floated to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, or CVICU with a maximum of 4 patients while floating
* First-time travel accepted
* Minimum 1.5+ years of experience required
* Adults patient population
* 32-bed unit
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and additional critical care competencies
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
* Pending NM/Compact license accepted but must be obtained prior to start
* 50-mile local radius enforced; locals not accepted
