Opportunity:

RN - Outpatient Procedure Unit

Job Details:

* Day shift position working five 8-hour shifts per week
* Position is in an outpatient procedure unit
* Candidates with perioperative, PACU, or endoscopy RN experience are eligible
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum two years of recent acute care or relevant nursing experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor
* Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
