Open Position: RAD Tech - Sonographer

Opportunity:

Travel Sonographer

Job Details:

* Day shift hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
* Assigned to Perinatal Center unit
* Patient ratio of 10 to 12 patients per technologist per day
* Work with equipment including E8s, E10S, and Expert 22s
* EMR systems used: Viewpoint and Expanse
* Perform procedures including 1st trimester scans, biophysical profiles (BPP), Dopplers, detailed fetal anatomy scans, OB complete exams, and fetal echos
* OB/GYN detailed fetal exam experience required
* Fetal echo experience preferred
* Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine office or OB/GYN office preferred
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS, OB/GYN Certification

Facility:

This facility is a hospital-based Perinatal Center with two hospital centers and a team of 30 staff members, including 10 sonographers. The unit operates on a day shift model with 5 to 6 sonographers, 2 RNs, 1 genetic counselor, 2 registrars, a director, and a clinical manager. The center is recognized for strong employee engagement and a tenured sonography team, with 7 technologists having 15 or more years of service.
