Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
* Scheduled days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
* Must have EPIC experience
* Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the ICU
* Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with unit standards of care
* Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice
* Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect
* Basic computer skills required
* Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA guidelines only), ACLS, PALS
* CCRN certification encouraged
* Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California required
* Frequently uses computer, telephone voicemail system, and laser printer
* Occasionally uses photocopier and fax machine
* Category 2 potential exposure to blood and body fluids
