RN - GI/Endo Lab

Job Details:

* Work in an Endoscopy Lab setting on the 1st floor of the hospital
* Day shift position with 2 RNs and 2-3 techs depending on case load
* Call required 2-3 days per week plus call every 3rd weekend
* Alternating weekends required
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Must be proficient in EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures - candidates without these skills will not be considered
* Must be able to perform moderate sedation with another RN
* Preferred experience with Bronchoscopy and EBUS
* Typical procedures include EGD, Colonoscopies, ERCPs, Bronchoscopies, EBUS, Robotic Bronchoscopies, occasional Thoracentesis, and Pleur-X Placement
* Equipment used includes Olympus scopes, Medivator, and Scope Buddy 2
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certification: ACLS
* No floating required
* Dress code: Ceil Blue scrubs - hospital scrubs available
