Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Details:

* Day shift hours may shift slightly due to scheduled patients
* Call required once every 9 weeks
* On weekdays, call person stays late only if there is a late patient, typically done by 6:00 PM
* Weekend call coverage is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for GI bleeds, bio-leaks, VQs, and brain death cases
* Nuclear Medicine experience required
* PET/CT experience preferred but not required
* BLS certification required
* 2 years of experience in specialty required
* Equipment used includes Siemens cameras: Symbias, Intevo SPECT/CT, and Biograph MCT Flow PET/CT
* Provide care to patients in General Nuclear Medicine including routine studies such as Bones, Gastrics, Hepatos, and Renals
* If PET/CT trained, potential rotation through PET department
* Must possess good communication skills, attention to detail, and patient centeredness
* Compact or KY State License required
* Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
