Job Details:
* PM shift position requiring flexibility working weekends
* Patient ratio of 2:1 across days, nights, and weekends
* Float to Mother/Baby unit required
* No on-call required
* 24-hour orientation
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
* Pre-approved time off: one request; RTO must be included at time of submission
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Precepting skills preferred; previous charge experience preferred
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Any color
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (hard stop - must have prior to submittal; C-EFM accepted in lieu), BLS, NRP
* Must be proficient with Epic (hard stop)
* Caring for low and high risk labor patients including TOLAC, antepartum with multiples, hypertensive disorders, and diabetic conditions
* Patient age groups: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, and Adults
* Perform and assist with procedures including: circulating and recovering cesarean sections, postpartum hemorrhage management (Bakri and JADA), blood transfusion, Belmont Rapid Infuser, D&C, hysterectomy, cerclage removal, and application of internal monitoring devices (FSE and IUPC)
* Ideal candidates will have: ability to float to Postpartum/Mother-Baby Unit, newborn care experience, Baby Friendly experience, ability to perform Non-Stress Tests, ability to set up a delivery table, and ability to apply FSE and IUPC
* May be required to float to an additional facility location
* Must be able to work with interdisciplinary support teams including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary

This acute care hospital features 356 staffed beds and a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 22 rooms and 21 beds, supporting a daily census of approximately 210 patients. The unit is equipped to handle both low and high risk obstetric cases and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is committed to providing a high standard of maternal and neonatal care.
