Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

* Work in a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 at grid, 5:1 when stretched
* Day and night shift grids include 2 CNC/Charge nurses, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, and 1 HUC
* Every other weekend requirement
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform neurological and spinal checks, C-collar placement, and TLSO brace application
* Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions
* Perform lumbar drain management, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions
* Operate equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts
* Document using Cerner EMR system
* Float to stepdown units and med-surg units as needed
* Neuro and trauma care experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
