Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope required to meet facility needs, same expectation as current staff nurses with agency floating first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Key skills include cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care and management, PICC line management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, non-invasive airway management, IV insulin protocols, heparin protocols, isolation precautions and PPE, wound care, and use of rapid response and code teams

Facility:

This facility is a specialized stepdown unit with 12 staffed beds, offering focused intermediate care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit provides comprehensive support for a wide range of complex conditions including neurological, cardiac, and post-surgical cases. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a structured staffing model to ensure quality patient outcomes.
