Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with late shifts until 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; a day off during the week will be provided when Saturday is worked
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts per month required
* Float between 4 sites as needed: Guilford, North Haven, and two locations in New Haven, CT
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Minimum 4 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Guaranteed hours provided
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Required skills: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Connecticut license required and must be active prior to start date
* Pre-approved time off greater than 7 days requires approval
* Serves adult patient population

This short-term acute care facility is a Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds, making it one of the larger and more comprehensive healthcare systems in the region. The facility operates multiple outpatient medical centers across the greater New Haven area and provides a wide range of specialty services including radiology and oncology care.
