Job Details:

* Shifts available: 06:45?15:15, 09:30?18:00, and 14:45?23:15
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* On-call required: up to 2 weekends per month, up to 2 weekdays per week, and holiday call if needed
* Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Restricted time off: no more than 5 days per contract
* Will not float within scope to meet facility needs and floating to sister facilities is not required
* Block scheduling is not available
* Required cardiac surgery case experience: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Required vascular surgery case experience: endovascular and open vascular procedures including AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm with fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Preferred case experience: general, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant
* Required CVOR case experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, TEVAR, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and ECMO
* Works in a 6-room OR suite consisting of 4 standard ORs, 1 hybrid OR, and 1 PV room
* Daily census of 8?10 patients; patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Charting system: Excellian/Epic
* Scrubs provided by the facility for this position
* Required certifications: BLS, and NBSTSA or NCCT
* Community hospital experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience preferred

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma designation. With 672 staffed beds and a comprehensive cardiovascular and vascular surgical program, this facility is equipped to handle complex, high-acuity cases across multiple surgical specialties. The organization supports a collaborative, high-standard clinical environment and provides facility scrubs for CVOR staff.
