Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Schedule options of 4x12 or 3x12 night shifts
* 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week scheduling period
* 13-week contract with possibility of extension
* 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
* Patient ratios of 1:5-7 with a daily census of approximately 30 patients
* Treat adult patient population with a wide range of acute medical conditions
* Charting system: Cerner
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Travel experience not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (must be through American Heart Association)
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Candidate must have a permanent address beyond 100 miles from the facility
* Key skills include telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, wound care/wound vac, heparin protocols, and IV management
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Facility allows a maximum of 2-3 call offs per contract
