Opportunity:

5N Med Surg RN

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
* 13-week contract or longer with possibility of extension
* Oncology experience preferred but not required
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Travel experience not required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Patient ratios of 1:5-6 (days, nights, and weekends)
* Blocked schedule available
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ONS Chemo/Bio certification preferred
* Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
* IV start skills required
* Ability to access and manage ports, administer blood and blood products, and manage central lines required
* Chemotherapy administration experience preferred
* Scrubs not provided; burgundy and/or white scrubs required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Unit serves as a 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with med/surg overflow
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Facility will only tolerate 2-3 call-offs per contract
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
