Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
* Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Call requirements include 1 late call per week (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM), 1 call shift per week (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM), and 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* Level 1 trauma experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Kentucky State Radiation License (KBMIRT) through ARRT required before start date; pending license acceptable at time of submission
* Kentucky State Radiation License (KBMIRT) required before beginning assignment
* License/Certification: RTR (Registered Technician of Radiology) or RTRCI (Registered Technologist of Radiology Cardiac Intervention) required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; PALS not required at submission but must be obtained before start date
* EKG onboarding exam required
* Required charting systems: Epic EHR and McKesson
* Preferred equipment experience: Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography
* Special procedures include: Interventional, Structural, Peds, Congenital, ECMO, Heart Failure, Transplant, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, PCI, and Multiple Devices
* Required skills include: Accurate monitoring, Angioplasty, ASD Closures, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), ECMO, Hemodynamic monitoring, Impella insertion, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Left heart catheterization, Pacemaker Insertion, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), EKG lead placement, Right heart catheterization, Room circulator, Scrub/maintain sterile field, Temporary Pacemaker, Thoracentesis, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Watchman, Rotablader/Venous Access, and Rhythm interpretation
* Preferred skills include: IV Start, Phlebotomy, Coil Embolization, Pacemaker, Obtaining Vitals, and experience in Inpatient and Outpatient settings
* Patients served span all age groups including Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
* Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted at this facility
