Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, scheduled Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday
* Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities as required
* Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Work within a 21-suite operating room covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Block schedule available with manager approval dependent on unit needs
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven department featuring 21 OR suites that cover all surgical specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, and the department is known for providing cutting-edge technology and comprehensive surgical care to the community.
