Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
* Weekend requirement varies based on staffing needs, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
* On-call required: weekday call runs from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM per call rotation; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* May be required to float to other campus as needed
* 3+ years of experience required; travel experience required
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Surgical scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required procedural skills include but are not limited to: general OR, ortho/spine, total joint replacement, laparoscopic assisted procedures, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Hana Table, lumbar fusion, laminectomy/discectomy, anterior cervical fusion, cholecystectomy, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, cystoscopy, arthroscopy, cataract extraction, and additional surgical specialties
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams, with peak activity in August and September
