Opportunity:
Cath Lab Tech - Diagnostic and Interventional
Job Details:
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS
* Work setting: Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional
* Patient ratio: 3 rooms
* Unit systems: Epic (Cupid), Pyxis, SBAR
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* Epic charting system experience required
* Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
* Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including throughout all areas of the Cath Lab
* Call requirements: STEMI weekend and weekday
* Holiday expectations: travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period, up to two holidays if three occur during the assignment
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Required skills include: diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, temporary pacemaker, rotablator atherectomy, Watchman, ASD closures, vascular closure systems, ventricular assist device insertion, scrub and circulator roles, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
