Opportunity:
RN - Electrophysiology
Job Details:
* 30-week contract position
* Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekend or on-call requirements
* No floating between units required
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab required
* Epic charting experience required
* Any color scrubs accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* Required skills include:
- Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal
- Watchman procedure
- Arrhythmia Induction
- Cardiac Ablation
- Cardiac Mapping
- Cardioversion
- Conduction Studies
- Insertion/Programming of AICDs
- Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
- Pacemaker Insertion
- Administration of Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, and Thrombolytics
- Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias
- Obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
* Preferred qualifications include familiarity with GLP-1 therapies in AFib management, experience in risk factor modification or device clinics, strong patient education skills around lifestyle and medication adherence, and participation in quality improvement initiatives
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, phlebotomy, and unit secretary
* Background in cardiac step-down, cardiac telemetry, or cardiac ICU is a plus
Facility:
This Heart & Vascular Clinic is a specialized facility focused on providing comprehensive cardiac and electrophysiology care. The facility offers a full range of cardiology services including interventional procedures, electrophysiology, and heart failure management, supported by an interdisciplinary team including interpretation services, phlebotomy, and unit secretarial support. The clinic is equipped with advanced technology and utilizes Epic as its charting system to support high-quality patient care.
