Opportunity:

Procedure Scheduling Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekends off
* In-person position at clinic with no floating between units required
* No on-call responsibilities required
* 1 year of experience working as an MA in an adult outpatient clinic setting required
* Procedure scheduling experience preferred; if not applicable, outpatient cardiology experience required
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Washington State MA-C License required
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Must be proficient in vital signs including hearing screening, height/weight, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, pulse oximetry, and vital signs
* Must be able to record patient history, medications, and allergies
* Must perform office duties including insurance verification, scheduling appointments, and telephone triage
* Must be able to review lab tests
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the intent of a permanent offer at the end of the contract

This facility is a Heart & Vascular Clinic providing specialized cardiovascular care to adult and geriatric patients. The clinic focuses on outpatient cardiac services and procedure scheduling, offering a collaborative and structured clinical environment. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system to support efficient and high-quality patient care.
